CCVR is a non-profit organization supporting crime victims
and crime victims’ issues through assistance, education,
information and legislation.
CCVR encourages input from the community as well as professionals serving victims of crime to share new ideas about how to address the barriers and challenges facing victims of crime.
Quarterly meeting are held to promote dialogue and a call to action.

NEVADA VICTIMS BILL OF RIGHTS
The Nevada State laws were changed in 1983 to recognize the following needs and rights of victims of crime;
You have the Right to;
To know the status of the case in which you are involved
To be free from intimidation
To know when your impounded property may be released
To receive a witness fee fro lawful obedience to a subpoena
To understand the existing victim compensation laws and to receive compensation if applicable
To secure a waiting area, which is not available to the defendant or his/her family, when
you are at court
To know when the defendant is released from custody before or during the trial
To know when the offended is released from prison (upon written request)
